Happy Holidays!

The Gown would like to express the combination of intense relief and embarrassment felt by everyone on the team. On one hand, we are delighted we are all still here, but on the other, thoroughly embarrassed that we took the threat of impending apocalypse on 21 December 2012 so seriously. We would like to offer our most sincere apologies if we caused you any undue stress.

As the first semester has well and truly finished, we would  like to thank you for all of your support throughout the 2012 autumn semester, and we hope to see the return of familiar faces and plenty of new ones in 2013. If you'd like to get involved, like us on Facebook, follow us on Twitter, and sign up to the mailing list at the right hand side of the page. Our first content meeting of 2013 will be announced through these mediums near the beginning of January.

We would like to wish you the very best of luck in your assessments in January. As the Gown is run by an all student team, we will also be taking a short break. We do not wish to be blamed for distracting anyone from revision or coursework with an interesting read, but not one that will help you analyse or memorise whatever it is that you are trying to analyse or memorise. We will be back after the end of the assessment period in full swing.

For the meantime though, and possibly more importantly, everyone on the Gown team would like to extend our warmest wishes to all of our readers that you have a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year 🙂
